What Dan Stands For
Justice with Integrity
Fair. Firm. Trusted.
With more than 30 years in the courtroom, Dan has built a reputation for fairness, honesty, and the courage to stand up for what’s right. He’s tried over a hundred jury trials across Virginia and South Carolina, guided by one principle: protect the good people of Charlotte County and ensure equal justice for all.
Protecting Our Community
Safety. Accountability. Justice.
Dan’s lifelong commitment to justice has kept families safe and criminals accountable. He has prosecuted violent crimes, drug trafficking, and theft — and fought tirelessly to uphold law and order. His goal is simple: make Charlotte County a place where victims come first, and criminals think twice.
Serving Where It All Began
Local Roots. Local Values.
Raised on a fifth-generation Charlotte County farm, Dan carries forward his family’s legacy of service. His great-grandfather was Sheriff of Lunenburg County for 60 years; his grandfather and great-uncle both served in leadership and as Commonwealth’s Attorney. Dan’s mission is to honor those values of strength, fairness, and humility — and continue that tradition of public service here at home.
Leadership with Experience
Proven. Prepared. Committed.
Dan has led a nationally recognized law firm, taught law at Southside Virginia Community College, and mentored dozens of young attorneys. Now, he’s bringing that leadership home to serve Charlotte County with integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
